While we were in Wisconsin we sang at Algoma Boulevard United Methodist. The whole weekend, I was getting disappointed that we hadn't be able to go shopping, antiquing or go to a museum. Boy, I was about to get a Gibbs slap...
Algoma Blvd's sanctuary was built in 1892. They added on in 1924, 1965 and 1993.
The heritage, details, and everything is just amazing in this church! Here's a few pictures that I snapped that morning!
"The original sanctuary was built in 1892 and designed by Oshkosh's very own William Water's who designed many of the cities historical buildings and residential homes. There have been additions over the years. Paine Hall in 1924, Charter Center in 1965, and the Centennial addition in 1993." - Algoma Boulevard United Methodist Church ~ About Our Building
By far, one of the most beautiful churches that I have ever been in.
If you ever are in the Oshkosh, Wisconsin area, I encourage you to go and visit Alogma Blvd UMC! It's a beautiful church and as soon as you drive up...you'll be in awe!
They also have one of the world's largest collection of Nativity Sets...and you can see that HERE.
