She would make dresses for the "well to do" ladies of the community and could create any look by just looking at a picture!
I suppose this attributes greatly to my love for sewing.
My great grandmother, both grandma's, most of my aunts and mom all sewed, also.
I guess you could say I grew up appreciating sewing!
I have been sewing since 2014 and am constantly striving to hone the craft.
Some of the things I hope to sew soon are jeans, a winter coat, ball gown, raincoat and the list goes on! I am always adding to the list of things I want to sew! It seem like every time I say "I'm going to sew this next!" by the time "next" comes I've already changed my mind and figured something new out!
Sewing has become a major part of my life and has led me to many exciting opportunities!
Such as, testing patterns for independent sewing pattern designers (HERE & HERE) and meeting sewists from around the world.
